Liquiproof waterproof protection for leather

Ensure the surface is clean and free from dust and dirt. We recommend using on new items. Ensure the leather is unwaxed.

Spray evenly over the entire surface from a distance of approx. 10-15 cm until surface appears damp.

Spread any pooling/droplets evenly across the whole surface and gently work in with one of our premium brushes or lint free cloth. Allow the coating to absorb in before repeating steps 2 & 3 at least three times in total over a period of 1 hour.

Using an absorbent, lint free cloth, remove excess coating paying close attention to non-absorbent parts, for example metal buckles and rubber sections.

Leave to air dry for at least 24 hours.

Please note – the application method is very important. Not following it properly may cause irregular protection or visible patches, so always follow the steps! We are always here to help so please contact us. DO NOT USE ON PATENT, SUEDE, NUBUCK, OR SHEEPSKIN LEATHERS.

Important Guidance & Aftercare

  • Do not apply Liquiproof on top of other delicate porous surfaces such as granite or marble worktops. They will become repellent!

  • Leather treatment may darken certain leathers. Colours may become more vivid. Test on an inconspicuous area prior to use.

  • When carrying out Step 3, start on the lightest colours first or use a separate brush for each colour material. Not following this process may cause irreversible colour bleed.

  • Try not to over saturate the material. If over-spraying occurs, absorb with a clean, dry lint free cloth.

  • When applying to garments that contain a mixture of materials, (for example suede and leather), apply the blue droplet footwear/fabric coating to the absorbent suede sections first following the appropriate steps outlined here. Allow to dry fully before applying the black droplet leather coating to the leather sections.
  • We cannot guarantee that our coating will work to its best ability if the surface has already been previously treated with other products such as wax, so we recommend applying Liquiproof to new, unwaxed items. Using cleaning or treatment products such as polish on top of our coating will reduce effectiveness.

  • If any residue or soiling agents fail to bead up and roll off, simply wash off with clean water immediately. If it still remains, rub with a clean absorbent cloth. Follow care guidelines of the garment.

  • Remove all coating residue from non-absorbent materials such as buckles, rubber soles or patent leather before they dry.

Most Common Questions

Ultra Boost laces length?

We recommend Medium (43 Inch) laces for Ultraboosts, as this matches the stock lace length. However, for those looking for a smaller bow or to wear untied, Small (36 Inch) would be an ideal option. You can find both these lengths across our most popular styles in our Ultraboost collection

NMD laces length?

The adidas NMD is notorious for having laces which are way too long. We suggest our Small (36 Inch) laces for the best fit, which when threaded loosely will give you a nicely sized bow without all the dangle and mess of the stock laces. You can find NMD laces here in our NMD collection

Most popular Ultra Boost laces?

The best thing about ultraboosts is that they are versatile and look great with both rope laces, and flat laces. We suggest keeping to the lightweight, tech-vibe by using regular aglets. Our favourite laces for ultraboosts are the black/3M flat lacesin Medium (43 Inch).

This sizing chart is a guide only and is flexible depending on how you thread your laces. For those you enjoy tight threading, our recommended "untied" versions may be appropriate for tying. For those who enjoy particularly loose threading, a larger length may be more appropriate. It will also depend on the size of the shoe (for example some smaller Ultraboosts would be recommended as 36 inch, but larger ones as 45")

The best way to check a rough appropriate length is to measure the current laces in your shoes.
