To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the much loved Asahi Super Dry, ASICS and Asahi, both rich in Japanese heritage, have collaborated to create a collection of Gel Lyte IIIs in multiple colourways and rendittions. There are four traditional Gel IIIs and one Gel III NS which draw inspiration from various aspects of the Asahi beers, as well as Japanese culture.
Coming in a number of colours, with accents of black, red and silver and even one tan leather with red leather underlays to celebrate the traditional cottages in the old country, there's a pair for any taste. Each of the colourways come with special Asahi engraved dubraes.
Only 30 sets were made, and all were given away apart from one set which is currently sitting on the New Zealand buy and sell site, Trade Me, with all profits from the winning purchase to go towards the NZ Red Cross.
