With the release of the Ultraboost 4.0 late last year and the upcoming Chinese New Year, it is only fitting that a colourway celebrating the Chinese New Year come. The fourth iteration and one of the best in our opinion, these feautre intertwining black and red knit, a crisp white BOOST midsole and a solar red Continental rubber outsole. Emblazoned with chinese characters and fangs to represent the Year of the Dog for 2018, these are available from adidas UK but are selling fast.
A nice little contrast for these would to turn the cage stripes white using our Ultraboost Stripe kits. Our favourite pick are the NO AIR NEEDED stripes.
Unfortunately the laces on the CNY are always subpar in our opinion. We suggest a laceswap to some red/black ropes or our black/3M katakana laces. Perfect.
