With the release of the Futurecraft 4D rumoured to be January 18, there is growing hype around the silhouette and the extraordinary midsole, made using light and 3D printing techniques. The Futurecraft 4D features a slightly updated design to the Futurecraft 3D, boasting a more fluid midsole structure and a slightly tighter upper weave which is expected to create greater lateral support.
Rumoured to be one of the first collabs with this model, the Invicible x adidas Futurecraft 4D features a rainbow accented mesh-like primknit upper and pale blue outsole sit outside the 'ash green' midsole. The three stripes make their appearance not through a cage, but rather heat transferred stripes along the knitted upper. The Ultraboost tongue and heel tab, as well as a thin heel counter, are retained.
The rumoured release is March 2018 for $400USD, but until there is further confirmation from adidas, we can only put it down to mere speculation. There is however a more concrete information base on the release of the Y3 Futurecraft 4D, shown at a recent Paris Fashion show.
