Yeezys are all about that creativity and restyling, with Adidas x Kanye West collab consistently unveiling limited edition colorways and high-end designs every season. On the 18th of April 2020, an exciting colorway stirred the sneakerhead community once more. Coming in perfect for the springtime is the Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Linen".
Contrary to the much paler first released photos, the sneakers come in a refreshing yellow tone, not too saturated, and faded at best. The same yellow is woven across the Primeknit upper, creating that textured look. Adding more definition to the monochrome upper is a 3M metallic gray stripe running parallel along the laterals, matching the icy, blue-grays of the collar and the sock liner. Inside is the signature 3-stripe on the ankle and the Adidas x Yeezy branding on the insole. Underfoot, Yeezys got that semi-translucent, cream yellow midsole housing a full-length Boost technology and a light gum color covering the outsoles that climb up to the heels.
We all know that Yeezy 350 V2s are one of the comfiest sneakers on the market. It has a sock-like fit and the standard Primeknit material that brings coolness to your feet. On that note, Adidas does recommend adding at least a half-size when donning on a pair for our wide-feet fellas to let the toes fit snugly into it.
As with all previous editions, the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Linen” retails for 220 USD. It is a pretty hefty tag, yes, but the pros are higher on these kicks. You know these sneakers will deliver however you see fit when you start seeing your workout sesh being more comfortable and your street fashion looking fresher than ever.
