The NMD_R1 has remained a staple in the rotation since its initial relase in December 2015. Since then we have seen the release of the NMD_R2 and a huge number of colourways, collabs and different materials. Like the Ultraboost, which has seen a number of updated knit patterns, the NMD_R1 is now undergoing a change in the upper.
The new designs feature a striped knit pattern along with thick stitches which run along the medial to the lateral side. The lace length and lacing structure has also been updated. It now features shoe laces similar to the NMD_R2, longer and with more rows of eyelets.
