Inspired by His Airness’s impressive leaps, the Air Jordan 1 line continues to soar on the market more than 35 years after its debut. The lifestyle sneakers recreate the previous 1.0 version with subtle tweaks on their color scheme and materials while staying true to their quality. The new edition switches its upper’s color blocking with a black leathered toe box running up to the center of the shoe before blending into the tongue. Light Smoke Grey nubuck now overlays on the mudguards, eyelets, and heel counters, along with the ankle wrap featuring the stamped Air Jordan Wings logo in black and the signature Swoosh. Finally, the shoes maintain their white rubber midsole, encapsulating the Air unit for that quality cushioning & impact protection before finishing off with a black outsole grounding the overall look with a neat contrast of blacks, greys, and white.
Now, some previous owners of the 1.0s might have preferred the earlier colorway, but the Shadow 2.0’s refreshing take on neutrals still proves it to be a must-have for the big fans of Air Jordans.
